About

A bit about me

Hi, I’m Geena! I’m currently based in the greater Boston area, which is where I grew up and, at age 6, filled my first notebook with pencil-written stories about two adventurous eggs with legs called Eggy and Egglyn.

It took me a while to come back to storytelling. After studying Mechanical Engineering at Stanford University, I spent the first five years of my career working in business development and sustainable design across Taipei, SF, and London.

When Covid had started lockdown #3 in the UK, I came back to my love of storytelling by writing my first book. Today, I continue to write for clients who wish for a human and embodied way to tell the stories of their communities, impacts, or origins.

Mixing the heartfelt, the gritty, and the tactical in a way that feels right to me, I aim to craft stories that are both emotionally honest and strategic. My approach always starts from a place of deep, embodied listening and a genuine appreciation for the speaker who’s sharing with me.

Outside of writing, I also help clients work more efficiently by designing time-saving systems and processes and executing them through no-code engineering. Feel free to get in touch about this too!

Lastly, please enjoy this beloved photo of my dad furnishing me with the sleek bowl cut that defined my childhood.
