Forward Jobs

A job matching marketplace using a skills-first approach to connect early job seekers and employers, built with Bubble.

I built a fully functioning app for Forward to help early job seekers and employers connect in a more human, intentional way for job interviews based on match scores determined by the app and mutual interest determined by the users.

I built the frontend and backend in Bubble using its built-in no-code tools and custom code, including the programming of the ChatGPT API to parse candidates’ resumés and employers’ job posts, backend workflows to generate and regenerate match scores across candidates and jobs, and database modeling.

The Forward team brought the app to market with early job seekers and employers in Austin for their initial pilot in 2024.
